The Fire Brigades Union has warned residents that closure and sale of the Ward End Fire Station is being considered by the West Midlands Fire Service. Engines would be moved to Fire Service HQ near the city centre, and reduce one vehicle’s cover from 24 hours to daytime only. 

West Midlands Fire Service says no decisions have been made and there are no formal proposals yet.

That means now is the time to make our voices heard. Together, we can fight to save our station.
