Straight back to work

If there was one reason I was standing for mayor it was to make homelessness history and deliver a right to  food. Having lost we need to think again about how we deliver that. That’s why the first day back after the campaign I visited one of our fantastic community kitchens to see what we can learn about rolling out this service across our city. On the day I was there we cooked 83 meals for families that don’t have anything, it is a disgrace that in Britain’s second city we need to do this. But, as long as we live in a country where people are going hungry we will carry on doing everything we need to do to end hunger and homelessness in our city. If you want to get involved and help improve people’s lives please do get in touch and I can direct you places that need your help. See my video about my visit here – https://fb.watch/5Lalh-Fhl4/
