Event Organiser Liam Byrne is seeking a flexible, part time event organiser to work as a Senior Administrative Officer supporting his core parliamentary team. The role will support the core office team in organising policy seminars, conferences and receptions in the House of Commons for the APPG’s which Liam co-chairs including the APPG Inclusive Growth and APPG Children of Alcoholics and Liam’s work as Chair of the Global Parliamentary Network on the World Bank and IMF, plus events in Birmingham relating to Liam’s policy research work and leadership of the East Birmingham Inclusive Growth taskforce. We anticipate the role to be part-time and support around 1-2 events a month. The role will include; – [ ] Planning and organising events. – [ ] Building audiences and organising speakers – [ ] Running the events process from planning stage through to running the event and conducting post-event evaluation. – [ ] Organising collateral and reports, AV for events.
